I've never been a huge fan of the dentist (fear I suppose) so I avoided getting some needed work done. After many years, I decided it was time to get caught up. My mother and I found Dr Spurling online and after reading reviews, we decided to each go and get a check up and a plan of correction. They were so understanding and thorough with the needed scans and cleaning we both decided to move forward. Two days later I opted to do the majority of my work the same day, as I live out of state. List of things I had done/fixed that day...a general cavity, a tooth fracture, a sinus lift, a first stage implant, a skin graft and a temporary tooth added (which I watched and was built on a 3-D printer in house!). I think I was there for 4ish hours with only local anesthesia. I had very minimal swelling and no bruising. That evening, to my surprise, I received a phone call from Dr. Spurling asking how I was doing and if recovery was okay. I had no pain and no swelling, no bleeding. The next afternoon, I received a call from the assistant, again asking how I was doing. She giggled when I told her we were shopping. I asked if I should be feeling worse considering all the phone calls. She was happy to hear I was doing so well. Dr Spurling also referred me to an orthodontist to straighten a couple of concerned teeth out of place. He could have pulled and replaced, or done veneers, if he wanted to keep all my business to himself, but instead he referred my to another office. I really appreciated his honesty and care through the past few years. Since then, I have been very diligent in going back for routine cleaning and whitening. I have told everyone who asks about Dr Spurling and his associates. Thank you for making me not afraid of the dentist again! :)Suzette C
